We had a lot of fun photographing Jula and Tony’s wedding at the Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster, PA .  The venue is set up like a small town, with classic and historic buildings around the central barn.  It was the perfect location for wedding photos – I feel like I could have taking pictures there all day and continued to find interesting shots.

A traveler at heart, photographing weddings in new locations is always exciting to me; Kristin and John’s wedding in Lake George, NY was a blast and did not disappoint.  Unfortunately, that other wedding (think Chelsea) along the Hudson River stole all of our press attention, but no one was complaining.  The weather was perfect, and the day held lots of adventure and surprise before winding up at the beautiful Inn at Erlowest for a rockin’ sunset party and celebration.  Remember, this is just a preview – many more pix to come in the near future!

I’ll be photographing Lauren and Robert’s wedding at the brand new Le Meridian here in downtown Philadelphia.  We had a great engagement session at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Waterworks, and Philadelphia Brewing company, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this Fall!

I was privileged to photograph Julia and Tony’s wedding at the Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster, PA.  Here are two portraits I took of the flower girls toward the end of the evening.  I noticed this spotlight as it got dark, and knew I had to use it for something fun.  I found the flower girls and their mother and asked them to pose for a series of shots.  Many, many more photos from the entire day to come – visit again soon!

The grounds at Bartram's Garden were great for portraits of Kathleen and John after the wedding. They were also very adventurous, which made for a great portrait session. I'll be posting more of these very soon!

Every detail of the wedding was very personal, creative and beautifully designed - including the hanging table assignments.

The night ended with a big sendoff featuring lots of sparklers...

I’m really excited to photograph Julia and Tony’s wedding next weekend at the Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster, PA.  For their engagement session, they chose to spend some time in Old City here in Philadelphia.  We started in the historic Elfreth’s Alley, then moved on throughout the small cobble stone streets in search of good photo spots.  They were a lot of fun to work with, and had a very adventurous attitude despite the upper-ninety degree heat.

I’m very excited to be photographing Christina and Mike’s wedding at Kings Mills this fall; they were both very adventurous as we explored cool photo locations starting at Schuylkill Banks and all across west Center City.  This is what I like best about engagement sessions; agreeing on one or two locations, then taking some time to explore and discover great backdrops for spontaneous and fun photos.

I’ve been looking forward to John and Kathleen’s wedding for more than a year now; mostly because they are an awesome couple, but also because I could not wait to shoot at Bartram’s Garden.  I have a lot of exciting photos to share from last Saturday, and I’ll be posting them here as I work through them.  For now, two photos: John and his Grandma, who came all the way from Wisconsin for the wedding; and Kathleen approaching John before they first saw each other on the wedding day.  Many more to come…

Angela and Matt were married in the Arch Street Meetinghouse at 4th and Arch in Philadelphia, moving on (through the rain, unfortunately!) to The Downtown Club for an awesome celebration.  The wedding was planned by cHill Weddings, and the details and setup were outstanding.
